Like a brilliant ginger spark cast against metallic glow
Flames tickle silver and red
As the walls cast light and shadow
And the world changes
All for the brighter light of newness
And the pain-wait seems to subside
And the time that was magnified just a short while ago
Seems to feel fine
Because news came in a burst
And stars aligned...

ReplyDeleteWe are good:) We have been fostering for 8 months now and have had two beautiful baby girls in our lives during that time. Our latest little one is 7 months old and she has been with us since birth. Luckily she is much loved by her family and hopefully they will be able to parent her soon. Maybe one will get to stay for good one day, but until then we are just enjoying every moment we have together and looking forward to meeting another little one soon. So excited you guys are getting closer. Can't wait to read the next installment of your poetic journey to Africa. XO
