It holds its own it don’t need a dial tone
It fires up and it don’t need gussied up
It just stays there…
it don’t need air
Around the corner
Down that block
Punch bags swinging
Tick tock tick tock
Bust that move
Snap that pop
Wind that toy
It just don’t stop
Excitement
It’s here and it’s here still
Calendar days are not up hill
Hour and hours
Stack up to more
And at the end of the month
There will be more…
And that’s the way it is
Sitting in anticipation
For all that could come
Holding onto happy
For two little buns.
